Job Description
Cllct, the leading brand covering the memorabilia and collectibles industry, is seeking a Manager of Social Content to create, distribute and develop content across all the site’s social media accounts.
This dynamic content creator and strategic planner will be responsible for growing the company’s accounts, establishing the brand’s voice on all platforms and extending the reach to build a broader audience and grow the subscriber base.
Responsibilities:
- Publish best-in-class social copy and content across all relevant platforms and oversee community management.
- Ideate, coordinate, and produce social copy and content from direct resources, agencies, and partners.
- Being able to create and edit content at shoots or during live events through capturing unique content.
- Source story ideas from social media, share them with the team and help execute them.
- Work with top talent across categories (collectibles, sport, entertainment, business) to create social content.
- Work with the CEO and Founder to develop sponsorable social content opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of current social media and digital media trends.
- Collaborate with other collectible content creators and endemic organizations to maximize reach of social content.
- Develop a comprehensive content calendar for Cllct social accounts, coordinating with the site’s editorial calendar and publishing cycle.
- Track and analyze the performance of Cllct’s social media content and adjust accordingly.
- Recruit influencers to collaborate and work with Cllct on social platforms.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years working in a fast-paced social media environment as a content creator.
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related area of studies.
- At least 3 years experience using software for video editing and photo editing.
- Demonstrated track record of growing social channels for a media company across all platforms.
- Fluency in web publishing tools, SEO and software like CMS, Sprout Social, Photoshop, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills, plus news reporting, writing, and editing skills.
- Fluency in electronic newsgathering techniques.
- Digital experience and strong news judgment; understands sports and collectibles.
- Experience with social media monetization.
- Experience using analytics to monitor and report on the success of social content strategies.
Location:
This role is preferred in our HQ office in Manhattan, NYC or can be remote-based.
